When you first join MySpace you will be starting with a blank canvas, in fact your only friend is going to be Tom. And if you want more friends you are going to have to find a quick and easy way of going about this as soon as possible. Obviously you joined MySpace for a reason, and you could just be one of the very few people that doesn't care about friends and just joined to be with your family, that's fine! However, if your one of the millions of people that joined MySpace to network and to promote or market yourself or a product, it's a good idea to get as many friends as you can in a quick hurry!
Now you could just as well go and find friends to add on the search engine within MySpace, but seriously, this takes some serious time, and time may not be something you have to waste, I know I don't!
