When the medication stops - hair usually returns. Sound strange but some anti-depressants have the same effect due to excess amount of vitamin A. Hormonal imbalance, over or under-active thyroid, fungal infections, diabetes or lupus can all result in hair loss as well.
Also bear in mind that feeling weak and being fatigued can be a clear sign that you body lacks important minor nutrient elements like iron or zinc. Stresses can lead to thyroid deficiency.
Can Hair Loss Be Treated?
It really depends. Baldness associated with medication effects, hormonal imbalance, thyroid problems or diabetes can be treated. Various drugs may help slow or prevent the development of hair loss. Treatments for male pattern baldness usually only show some limited response. Where medication doesn't help transplantation will come to help.
This type of surgery operation means moving hair from densely covered sites on the sides or back of the head to bald areas of the scalp. The key to success is to have sufficiently covered with hair sides or back of the head from which to move hairs.
