There are numerous reasons for why men have affairs. Sexual attraction and curiosity are some of the reasons why men have affairs. In general, most of the men's affairs are motivated by physical sex. Men who do not get sexual fulfillment from their wives or men who are just looking for some exciting sex are more likely in getting into affairs. Men looking for variety in sex or multiple partners have quite a few affairs. These men are more interested in variety and novelty than women.
Some men have affairs just for the heck of it. If an opportunity presents itself, why say no? They reason by asking what is wrong with a few flings. Other men blame their wives for not providing them with physical and emotional support. Men who tend to get bored with their wives and start taking them for granted go around looking for variety and flings and sometimes it develops into a full fledged affair.
We usually find that men are more dependent emotionally than women. If their spouse is not responsive enough to fill their emotional requirements, they feel justified in having an affair. Men also tend to look for appreciation and attention to feed their ego. Any woman who appreciates and admires him is sure to floor him.
Other reasons why men have affairs include misunderstandings and frequent conflicts in their married life, boredom and a need for fun and excitement. As they have their fights with their wives at home, some men go out to have an affair just to spite them and take revenge on them for their apparent ill treatment of them.
A strong minded and balanced man should be able to identify signs of an affair and put a brake on his journey if he wants to protect his family life. A man who rushes into an affair just because he is not able to control his spur of the moment emotions, then he is in for serious trouble.
Affairs really cause destructive effects on marital relationship, no matter what the reason is. The betrayed wife is sure to feel depressed and even decides to end the relationship. There is no use crying over spilt milk. When you have the chance, take control over your emotions and start thinking and behaving rationally. Anger, ego and discontent are not reasons serious enough for you to jeopardize your marital life. Relationship between a husband and wife is something precious and it is your duty as the husband to protect anything from going wrong.
Be a man and take control over your emotions. Face challenges in life from within your marriage rather than running away at the drop of a hat. Cherish the relationship with your wife and show her all the attention and love to rekindle the romance in your life. Rejuvenate your relationship by going on a vacation, just you and her to remind yourself of those beautiful feelings that brought you both together in the first place.
