To cater to this market of young hip laptop users and consumers, many laptop companies have become more innovative. Colored laptops have been the result. Laptop builders have began to cater to a market that is increasingly exotic. That is why companies like Dell have already began allowing buyers to customize their purchases right from their site. Other companies such as Alienware also allow buyers to specify how they want their laptops to look like. While requesting buyers to specify what additional features they want is not an entirely new concept (Dell has been extending that privilege to its customers for a few years now)the ability to customize even the color is a new concept especially when it comes to laptops.
Just the same way cell phone manufactures became sensitive to their users requests for specific customization and even produced phones that appeared gender specific (pink phones), laptop makers have answered the call to produce laptops that cater to different people's color preferences. That is why laptops can now come in almost every color of the rainbow and we are bound to see this variety in many electronic stores in the near future. This gives laptop users an even better reason to go out and get one.
