Having a wedding outdoors adds the ambiance of nature to your ceremony. Just make sure that the weather is going to be nice or that you have a back up plan in case it isn't when the day rolls around. Niagara Falls is still a very popular place to get married. You can have your wedding indoors or outdoors. The sight and sound of the falls would definitely add some interest to this location. You could stay on for your honeymoon too.
If you are avid swimmers you could have a pool party for your wedding. Have everyone come in bathing suits and you be in the pool to say your vows. Then for a reception have a cookout and swim.
