You want a date, few people will say this but most have deep down feelings of wanting a date. While it is true that some gals your age already have a couple of dates over the past year, you have yet to find the one. Why rush? Love is not something you can force your way just because you think it is the right time for you to find him. But leaving it to fate or destiny is not all there is to it. It may be a fraction of why you still have not met him. However, consider some facts or some things that might just be the exact problem why. Let us look at some possibilities.
First, perhaps you have already met him but you are just too much attentive to him. Who does not want to give attention? But consider the fact that men like to do the chasing, not the other way around. You are scaring him away or maybe even confusing him by the attention that you are giving his way as if he is the center of your universe. Well, get a hold of yourself here, step back and look at the whole scenario. Do you not want to be chased? As a woman, I like the feeling of being chased because it is flattering and men seriously find that they do not mind doing the chasing. It is just part and parcel of their being. You should not pose as some Madonna who can not live without them by constantly calling and telling them how nice they are. Let him do the work and you will just be fine.
Next, perhaps you appear to him as a woman who easily gives her love and body away too soon as if it is some kind of game. I mean, do not be such a klutz by giving in so easily with just few sweet words. Men are naturally born as sweet talker even if they are not specifically aware of it but they are. Men find it interesting if the woman they are after is tougher than what they actually thought of. As I have mentioned, they want to do the chase. How can a man be chasing after a woman who gives in easily? Think about that. If men find you easy, then they will think that you do not only give in easily to them but to every man you meet who gives you a little attention.
As women, it poses a really great threat to men if we appear as a challenge, a self-proclaimed victory of our own field, doing our own thing and most especially the kind of woman who can live with or without men. Give yourself the respect that you deserve and men will recognize it. They will realize that you are a precious prize indeed worthy to be won over and by this you will eventually reap the benefits you have worked so hard to attain.
