It is not a site full of garbage but with totally amazing products that you can only imagine to have. Many items uploaded on the site are good quality items. First, you search for items with the right price tags. To do this, you will need to do advanced search then tick completed items. Doing this will allow you to see the list of items that has already ended and from it you can find the item's actual price after the bid closed. All the items with colored green prices have transactions completed which mean that someone bought the item at the price stated. Items that are colored red are in a listing but never actually had completed a transaction or buyer for that matter.
Next you look at seller's feedback then try to validate the authenticity of the item. You can do this by clicking on the seller's name or the number of stars (rating) beside their names. This will take you to the page where you can see the seller's feedback from former buyers who has had completed the transaction with him or her. See to it that the comment you are reading is from buyers and not from sellers because the more buyer feedbacks there is, the greater the chances that the item they are selling is indeed true and correct.
See to it that you time your bid properly which means avoid putting your bid early. Sometimes you can wait to the very last few seconds of the auction before placing your bid however do take note and consider your computer's lag, your internet connection and the eBay's server which means that you put margins on your time. There are also services out there that automatically put your proxy bids right before the bids close which is becoming available already though eBay will really fret if you do but you do have an option to do so.
Search for rare deals on the site. This means you put an act of stupidity while searching for the item you want. Typographical errors rarely happen when you are a seller but they are present not that they are done intentionally. Certain misspellings will be your source for good deals because fewer people will see them due to the incorrect spelling of the item name or product description.
