I have always wondered why some relationships fall apart and I have seen them in fact from my brother and sister's relationship with the woman and man they loved. It can really be a mess when one person decides to end things and how it affects one's world is I think very devastating. Here we look at some reasons why some relationships fall apart and never last.
The most common reason is one of you has found somebody new. This could be a distraction or a diversion of attention but no matter it is, it shakes the whole relationship off perhaps to where we really did not mean to go. He or she might have transferred his or her affection to somebody new. Many times we hear the statement like "I think we are really not meant to each other." Whether we believe it or not, chances are there is really someone new and the harder we think otherwise, the more that the thought will consume us.
Another reason would be that he or she feels as if she's the only one doing the things to work between the two of you. Having this sort of idea will most likely lead to frustration and discouragement because he or she is not being listened enough or is being taken granted. This frustration could pile up and the only thing left is the question of giving up or not. Many people really do not tend to know when is the right time to hold on and to let go and this sometimes lead to more frustrations and baffling situations.
Unresolved issues can also be one reason why one wants to give up on a relationship. It is not you that is really having problems but him or her. He or she could feel like being detoured or stopped for some reasons that he or she could really not pin point what and you will only helplessly look at him or her because you can do nothing except stare. In this case, it is really not you who is having problem but the other person. And the thing is, there really is no one who can help them resolve their issues with themselves except them. If you try to do something about it, you would only feel as if you are being shoved around and you are really being left with no choice but to give up.
There are people who feel like everything that they have worked for is a failure. And that no matter how hard they try; they still feel like they could not please you or anybody. They feel as if everything they do is just not good enough. This kind of thinking will lead the person to think that they are failures because they can't please their spouse. It could be an overwhelming burden.
These issues can sometimes start as small things but could not do anything to pour it out because of fear that they can't actually release the tension by themselves and they keep piling up until there is nothing left but to let go.
