Like an RV, a pop up camper offers sleeping quarters, a kitchen and in higher end models, a working bathroom. Pop up campers can sleep four to six people comfortably.
Deciding what type of camping equipment is needed depends on each individual situation. It is important to make this decision in the early planning stages of the camping trip mainly because you will be limited on space and you will have a better understanding of what to pack for your trip
A tent may provide you a view of the stars on a dark night in the woods, however a camper will offer you extra protection by being able to lock the door. A tent may provide a more rustic view of camping however an RV will allow the luxury of sleeping on a soft bed.
