The Importance Of A Personal Development Strategy

It is easy to get into personal development and forget about the importance of having a personal development strategy to go by. This can result in you either controlling a powerful ship or drifting with a powerful ship. Now a personal development strategy becomes important, and as you read, you discover more about creating a strategy.
Life is growth, and growth is change. But, lack of focus can send us in loops, never finding the true power of personal development - which is in the clear and focused application of the principles.
As a person into personal development, you may have had an experience that is so similar to mine, and that of many others in personal development. I look in my emails, and as I look, I have the obvious spam, and customer emails, sales, etc. I also have a whole lot of emails about seminars, and would I like to go.
Some are free, and some are paid for, and here is where we can easily get into a position, like watching TV - you have so many channels, you can't focus. Personal development needs focus, and as such, we need to have a personal development strategy that can work with our development.
For example, let's say your primary aim is to make a $1,000,000 per year. You could try going to a wealth seminar. Then you may find another seminar on wealth, and try going to that. After a few years, you are running around, learning what to do, when you have a million, but find it hard to get that first million.
So, what's the solution? You probably guessed it - a personal development strategy. And here is where a personal development strategy is essential.
In the above example, we find the failure was due to running, before we can walk. In most cases, the above case shows what many people do, when they have a slight desire in personal development to grow.
We find that many times our own position can cause us problems. Doubts, fears, and also negative programming from society - such as money is the root of all evil, causes people to put obstacles in there paths.
Here is a basic strategy that you could use, with the above example. Pretty much, you could adapt it, to whatever your needs. However, it will provide a basis, which will help you.
1. Mindset
2. Learn to invest
3. Grow your investments
Mindset is a big topic. And mindset is a topic which needs to be looked at for a number of reasons. You can't achieve something you have never had, unless you are it, and are ready for it. Our mindset becomes the barrier; our limiting beliefs keep us small. And you perhaps wonder why it is hard to achieve certain goals. Going through these steps results in mastership and success. |
