Wedding is a special milestone and happy memory that needs to be preserved for a long time to come. That said to make that event memorable you need to pick a venue that is also special in all ways. The venue should represent an element of you in its theme and selection.
In the case of the venue the first and the foremost thing that you need take care of is the decision between the bride and the groom as to where they want to have their wedding.
Some couples want it to be at the brides home as that has its won set of special memories because that is where the bride grew up. Some couples do not want the whole big wedding kind of thing and only want a very private affair with immediate family members and close friend. If it is a small wedding and have a budget then you should try to hire a special castle or a special boat to have the wedding.
Even for big weddings where the gathering is huge you can have in a special venue whereby the event planners can actually put up a temporary structure that can actually go with any theme for the wedding. The theme based wedding in fact is the best bet for those who want something different and would not really want to spend too much on the wedding. These temporary structures will not cost as much as flying down each and every guest to a remote location like a beach or a historic location.
If you or the bride are more of the adventurous kinds then a lot people do get married in unusual ways but of course with a not a lot guests in attendance.
A lot of the most common place where people do get married in California which is probably the most favorite destination for a lot of couples. Then there are Florida where you can have beach style weddings with special exquisite locales and clear water behind you. The other favored destination for marriages is the British Virgin Islands. All this again depends on the budget which you have as it can cost quite a fortune to fly each of your guests to the location.
Selecting a location is a tough task especially with budget and other arrangements in mind but that said it is one of those things that will your wedding memorable for you as well for everyone who is attending. |
