When you’re staying at a world-class resort like St. Mary Lodge & Resort, with the nearest town nearly 100 miles away, you’re not likely to hop in the car to go grab a bite. That’s why the folks at St. Mary Lodge & Resort have gone out of their way to prepare food so tasty you wouldn’t bother driving into town even if it was next door!

Casual or Gourmet – It’s Your Choice

The Curly Bear Café offers up a menu of beef and buffalo burgers, a meatless veggie burger, plus salmon and chicken sandwiches. All choices are accompanied by French fries, coleslaw and traditional toppings including lettuce, tomato, pickles and onion. You can also enjoy one of the six desserts that the St. Mary Lodge & Resort is famous for including the world-renown Huckleberry Pie. The Curly Bear is a great place to grab lunch or a light dinner with the kids.

Snowgoose Grill

Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, fine dining awaits you at the internationally acclaimed Snowgoose Grill. The subject of rave reviews by the New York Times, Town & Country, US News and World Report, Travel and Leisure Magazine, Sunset Magazine and countless others, this restaurant is known for providing “gourmet cuisine in a comfortably casual atmosphere.”

When It’s High Noon At The Snowgoose Grill, It’s Time For Lunch

Start off with a fresh and crisp Caesar, Summer or Boston Lettuce salad. Then dive into the Snowgoose Grill’s version of French Dip featuring roasted top round of Buffalo, thinly sliced and placed atop a baguette served with au jus and French fries. Or maybe a classic New York-style Reuben also served with fries, or mouth-watering fish and chips is more to your liking.

If you’ve got a Southwestern urge, the Indian Taco made from genuine Indian fry bread covered with meat and beans chili and a generous topping of Monterey Jack cheese will hit the spot. This popular lunch spot also offers a variety of freshly-made sandwiches that all live up to the Snowgoose Grill’s reputation for fine food.

Dinner At The Snowgoose Grill

Seven amazing appetizers including an ever-changing homemade soup of the day top the dinner menu at the Snowgoose Grill. The Snowgoose Grill is well-known for its mouth-watering prime rib as well as the savory flavor of wild game entrées including buffalo steaks. But if you’ve got fish on your mind, there’s nothing better than nearby St. Mary Lake’s own native whitefish. Accompany your meal with a variety of fresh salad offerings and a glass of wine.

Pasta is also included on the menu and can be ordered in either appetizer-sized portions or entrée-sized. Even though the Snowgoose Grill at the St. Mary Lodge & Resort is a long way from Italy, you’ll think you’re dining in Roma when you bite into the Sautéed Bowtie with fresh tomato, garlic, basil and olive oil, or the Portobello stuffed ravioli blended with herbs and a light Madeira wine sauce. For a truly unique taste, try the wheat Fettuccine sautéed with vegetables, olive oil, pine nut, and grated parmesan.

Whatever you choose, don’t forget to save room for dessert! You’ll find plenty to choose from, but no visit to the St. Mary Lodge & Resort is complete without a slice of its classic Huckleberry pie.
