Guys often have views on how they should look and what they should accomplish. Many men are obsessed with their masculinity, and therefore want to look as muscular as possible. Athletes and wrestlers started this trend, but many of them also led lots of guys toward a serious addiction.
Some of these men probably never thought that the chests that they worked so hard to develop would need male chest reduction, but they did. Take, for example, the men who participate in bodybuilding competitions. The muscles on these guys definitely indicate the presence of steroids.
Steroids are illegal, but they weren't as regulated in the 80s and the 90s. So, what goes wrong when a man takes steroids? Well, considering that everyone's body chemistry is different, there are a bunch of different side effects, but all of them have to do with hormonal factors. However, the most common side effects are aggressiveness, infertility, and larger male breasts.
In the case of the male breasts, they often become larger because the steroids force the body into producing too much estrogen. Nowadays, most men who have taken steroids face legal action, especially if they became a famous athlete while on this performance enhancing drugs. Some even face jail time, never mind male chest reduction.
However, male chest reduction is not only for athletes who have actually used steroids. Sometimes men who have worked on defining their chests and then stop working out get male breasts because the muscle turns into fat. Additionally, this procedure can also be for males who have a hormonal problem that results in gynecomastia. Men like breasts, but only on women, and for men who have no control over how they look, having their breasts reduced makes all the difference. It will enable them to be more secure in their masculinity, and thus in their intimate life.
This procedure comes in varying forms, in accordance to how much reconstructive work needs to be done on the breasts. For the larger breasts, some liposuction will need to be done, as well as tightening of the muscles to give the breasts a flat look again. For smaller breasts, all that will be needed is some removal of fat.
As for the cost of this procedure, that varies as well. This is generally considered a cosmetic procedure, so any medical insurance that you might have will probably not cover this procedure. Overall, the cost runs a couple of thousand dollars, so if you do not have the financial means, instead try to first alter your diet. Sometimes excess fat can be lost simply through eating lots of fruits and vegetables! Also, be sure to exercise on a regular basis, even if it is just for a few minutes each day. Regardless, you're not alone, and you can get back your self-esteem. |
