The third most spoken language in America is Italian, due to a great influx of Italian immigrants following World War II. Though comprised of many different dialects, the language was standardized for the most part in 1860, when Italy became unified as a Kingdom. The Italian language is really related to the culture. Italian families have been in America a long time but their knowledge of language and culture is diminishing.
