Finding true love has never been easy. History is replete with examples where people laid down their lives finding true love. That said it is easy to find true love but to maintain that true love forever is challenge.
It is a challenge because it involves not only giving yourself unconditionally to the other person but also it all about being flexible and amenable to the other person's desires, likes and dislikes.
Let us define true love in today's world. True love means that you care about the person and other person also loves you in the same vein. There are no conditions and strings attached to your love. True love is all about caring and compassion you have for the other person. If only person is doing that in a relationship then it is a relationship which is doomed for failure. At some point the person loving unconditionally is going to realize that this love is not being reciprocated. That feeling alone can mark an end to the relationship.
With almost everyone today living a materialistic life there are a few things that you should be aware of if you are in love. Initially it is ok to be in blind love as you need to test the waters but gradually you should start evaluating the other person. You need to make sure that you are the not the only one in the relationship who is being unconditional and the gestures are not being reciprocated.
Love is all about giving importance to the other person. When in a relationship you need to value the other person's opinions and views. That holds true for both the person in a relationship. You definitely need to reevaluate your relationship if you feel that your opinion and thoughts are being suppressed. In most cases it is the females who feel that their voice is not being heard against the dominance of the male voice.
As in any relationship maintaining equality in every transaction is of prime importance. The other end of the spectrum demands that while in relationship you should be caring and passionate towards the others. It is all about the sacrifices you do for the good of others. This is absolutely fine to do if the other understands what you are doing and values that. If the other person is immune to all what you do, then you need to be out of that relationship sooner rather than later.
