While the number of cheating women is still considerably lower than that of cheating men, people often still question why women and men cheat in the first place. It would seem more unlikely that the wife would cheat as she is seen as the more loving and faithful member of the relationship but often women do not think about their partners when they decide that there are going to cheat.
It is hard to find out the exact number of women who cheat and why they cheat because women are not going to admit if they have cheated or not. However women who have been interviewed say the women often cheat because they are hurting in some way. They may be lonely due to an absent husband, they may have been cheated on and then they want to get revenge on their spouse. Some women have even reported that they cheated because they did not feel good about themselves and the person whom they cheated with made them feel good and special.
Most women who have cheated on their spouses have said that they needed to have an emotional void filled. There was something lacking in their marriage and they were able to get the love and attention they needed from someone else. However, in most cases women often mistake passion for love. When people begin an affair it is not because both people love each other, they are just trying to find something that they are missing in their lives.
Women who spend a great deal of time alone due to working husband often find themselves more susceptible to the advances of a man wishing to start an affair. This person provides them with the companionship that they are missing in their lives and that their husbands are not able to provide them with. Women in these types of marriages often feel bad about themselves and they often seek out the attention of other men and often they are not able to control themselves if they are shown a great deal of attention.
Then there are those women who cheat on their husbands simply for revenge. A woman who has been cheated on often tries to find ways to find ways to get back at their cheating husbands. In some cases they do not make their husbands are aware of the fact that they know that the husband has cheated they simply start planning their revenge. In most cases they wives will find someone close to the husband and then start planning how they will begin the affair. If the women is really hurt they won even try to hide the fact that they are cheating. They get excitement out of the fact that they know they are hurting their husbands. There are other women who have found out that their husband has cheated and confronted him and they still cheat for revenge. It is almost as if they are saying if you can do it I can do it too.
