I love playing games online, not only is it a great way to have some fun but it's also a great relaxation technique I use while working at home. Let's face it, sometimes we get too busy to even bother leaving the computer. But what's nice about these games is all you have to do is type in a simple URL, and play away. Popular "household brands" such as Pogo, and iWin will have you make personal accounts up. These accounts will allow you to keep scores, add favorite games to your account, and much more. The con with sites such as the ones listed above, is you have to make an account to even play and you never really get the full advantage unless you actually become a paid member. Most people are on the fence about the paid membership decision. Some people have no problem paying for some really cool games, and other people don't want to even be bothered with having another "bill" to pay at the end of the month. In the end, it's a personal choice whether you decide to be a free member or a paid member or if you decide to make an account or not.
In other cases, websites such as Addicting Games and MiniClip are completely 100% free to play. There are tons of games and game categories on sites such as these here are a few that may be included:

Note most of these sites do not have games you can play with other people. In most cases you will be playing by yourself or against a computerized player. But still, these games can be a ton of fun even if you are playing alone!
