Near enough to 50 million people are afraid to fly, so do not feel you are in this situation alone. The reasons are to do with mind control, for example when I was younger I never used to be afraid of anything let alone flying. But there then comes a turning point in every ones life where they develop fear this may be due to the fact that they feel they have no control over a plane or just because the older the get we realize how valuable a life is and how easily it can be lost.
Supermans saying “Flying is the safest way to travel” is technically true, think of it this way every 5 minutes someone will die in the world from a car crash this cannot be said for an aeroplane, only once in a blue moon. The chances of being involved in an air accident are 1 in 11 million. A few tips to help you through and you should really take these into account.
Before you get on the plane let people know that you are afraid the more you keep something locked away the worst it will get. When you are experiencing turbulence just think of it as speed bumbs in the road. Try to bring snacks and books to read to pry your attention away from the flight. Keep your breathing at a steady rate and most importantly do not watch the news when they are reporting air accidents.
