I have been to that many seminars on Internet Marketing that I thought it was time for me to
write my own article. So I did. And here it is...
The first thing you need to do, of course, is find a "hot topic". That is something that people are crazy about. Think about it, if you find something that people really go crazy over the chances are you will sell alot more to those people and a whole lot easier too.
When people are passionate about something they buy much more easily. Think about it, what hobby do you have? One of my hobbies is Internet Marketing. and if
anyone sends me an email about an Internet Marketing product I usually buy it just because I am passionate about that topic. So, first find a topic that you know will have passionate people in that niche.
When you are thinking about your product creation you will need to listen to your customers. You can do this in a number of ways. I like to survey them, asking them what they want, then simply give it to them. It's that easy. Don't guess about what they want - you must always ask them first.
After that, of course, you will need to check out your competitors, possibly on google, just to see how many competitors you have and how strong they are. Just like with a real shop front business. You wouldn't open an ice cream shop in a town where there were already 300 ice cream shops. The exception of course is when your product is unique.
Next you need to create a sales letter that has the ability to sell your product, and there are plenty of books on the market showing you about writing good copy.
Then you need to create a simple web site. You can go to Big Pixie and have a quick and easy web site created for you for very little cost.
After you have your own web site to sell the product there is only one thing left to do. You need to get traffic to come to your site. That will need to be another article as there are so many different ways to do this. The possibilities are endless, but one thing is for sure if you put in the hard work you will get the traffic coming to your site.
A couple of suggestions to get you started on traffic are: writing articles every day to promote the site (like I am doing right now), putting comments on forums of related topics, and blogging. The main thing with marketing strategies is to persevere. Just keep on doing two or three techniques and stick with them consistently. Sometimes you won't see a result for a few days or even weeks. But that just means that you should persevere and not give up.
Too many people give in on the verge of a break through. So don't let that be you.
